Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday told Fox News that he respected US President Donald Trump and the American people following a clash between the two leaders at the White House earlier in the day.

The meeting between Trump and Zelensky ended in disaster, after the two leaders clashed in an extraordinary exchange before the world's media at the White House over the war with Russia.
