This week's writing prompt is one of the three Armada Portraits of Elizabeth I, by an unknown English artist.

We time you for 2 minutes as you write down a list of the words that spring to mind as you look at the prompt. We then share with you words generated by the people who did the prompt live on Zoom with us, and time you for 10 minutes as you write, letting your imaginative mind and your rational mind play together on the page, inspired by the two lists of words.
