Wendy Williams begs for help from assisted living 'prison,' prompts police response

Wendy Williams was taken away from her assisted living home by ambulance Monday after she dropped a note to paparazzi begging them to help her.

Cops were called to do a wellness check around 11.15 a.m., soon after the former “Wendy Williams Show” host tossed a piece of paper to a photographer from her New York City assisted living facility, requesting their aid, according to The Post.

Her handwritten message simply read, “Help! Wendy!!”

According to photos, Williams walked to the ambulance on her own while being escorted by police.
