We are a 2½ year-old robotics startup that is building robots for removing metal fasteners from lumber. We take out the nails, the staples, the screws, and then once it's metal free, you can treat it like virgin wood. You can build with it again, you can use it in furniture. It's really a cool product once the metal comes out.

So how did you come up with this idea to use robots to pull nails, fasteners and screws out of pieces of wood?
