Using an art prompt with a 20-minute time limit, I worked with a limited color palette—brilliant blue, Vermillion red, lemon yellow, plus black and white—to create abstract paintings with a botanical twist.

Working with intuitive art and nature-based themes is a great way to balance structure and freedom in painting.
