Not Reedy to Play - A fiction writing prompt #saxaphoneday

Your main character refurbishes saxophones, and a very important client has dropped their saxophone off for a cleaning and inspection. They have a huge concert to play on National Saxophone Day, which is just 24 hours away. When your MC inspects the saxophone, he/she finds the reed broken. It's just a hairline crack, but if the musician plays it one more time, it'll fully break. The Sax must have a new reed ASAP. Unfortunately, there's a reed shortage! How does your MC find a reed and save the concert?
