I journal my thoughts to better understand my distractions. When I realized how effective it was three months ago, I began journaling almost every day. Today, I want to share the journaling prompts I use to increase my focus throughout the day.
The first prompt I use is: What distracted me most today?
The second is: What system worked well for me this week?
By the way, I got a great idea from Chat GPT to add a target prompt, like: What is the one thing I can accomplish today or this week?
These questions have helped me recognize when I’m impulsive and when I’m more distracted—mentally or emotionally. For example, my current target is avoiding burnout this week.
So, let’s start together! And if you want to join me on this journey, please keep me updated in the comment section—I’d love to hear about your progress!
