Lack of blood and urine diagnostics presents a significant global health issue, especially in developing countries and underserved areas. Women, children and the elderly are in particular vulnerable to this problem. Often times, the lack of diagnostics can make a disease more severe, leading to hospitalizations and a strain on health care resources.

To understand how robotics and AI can help address this very issue, we are joined by Dr. Tathagato Rai Dastidar, Founder and CEO of SigTuple, a pioneering MedTech company revolutionizing microscopic analysis of biological samples through AI, robotics, and data science.

Dr. Dastidar, an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur with a B.Tech and Ph.D. in Computer Science. He holds 11 US patents with research interests spanning AI, computer vision, and image processing.
